Use saved places

A saved place is an area that you use often. For example, a park, a district or the area around the animal shelter. Save it one time, then pick it again on updates, notices and polls.

Add a saved place

  • From Settings. Open Settings and select Saved places. Select Add place. Only an Admin sees this button.
  • From an update. Draw an area, then select Save as a place. You need send rights.

Enter a name of up to 120 characters. Only staff see this name. Residents do not.

Use a saved place

Under Where it applies or Who to ask, select Saved place. Then pick the place.

Change or remove a place

Only an Admin can do this, in Settings, then Saved places. Each place shows about how many residents live in it.

If you remove a place, updates that already use it keep their area.

For a one-time area, such as a construction zone, draw it on the update instead.
