Your communication balance and costs

You pay only when something is sent. Drafts, scheduling and reviews are free.

What each message costs

Channel	Price
Email	$0.01 per email
Text message	$0.05 per text
Phone call	$0.25 per minute. $0.02 if the call does not connect.
Mail	$1.00 per mailpiece

• Each started minute of a call counts. A call that connects costs at least one minute. A voicemail costs the same as an answered call.
• People at the same address share one mailpiece, so you pay one time for each address.
• A message that fails costs nothing.

The estimate before you send

The estimate is the highest cost. It counts every call as answered, with time for questions. After the calls end, we give back the unused call time. It shows in your activity as "Unused call time".

See your balance

Admins see the balance in the sidebar. Select Details to open the Communication balance page. The page shows:

• Your Balance, and what you used this month.
• Usage by channel this year.
• Recent activity: charges, refunds and adjustments.

Add funds

To add funds, contact our sales team at sales@citizenloop.com.

A send can take your balance below zero. The send dialog warns you first. The balance then shows in red.
