City settings
Your city's settings
Open Settings in the sidebar. Everyone on your team can see the settings. Only an Admin can change them.
The tabs
- Jurisdiction. Your official name, type, state, county and boundary.
- Branding. Your logo.
- Newsletter. How often the newsletter goes out.
- Web & email address. Your custom address for the resident site and for email.
- Saved places. Areas that you use often on updates, notices and polls.
Jurisdiction and boundary
The Jurisdiction tab shows your Official name, Type (City, Town, Village or County), State and County. Residents see your official name on every message and public page.
The Boundary card shows a map of your city line and its area in square miles. Citizen Loop uses the boundary to:
- Check that a new resident lives in your city.
- Frame every map in the portal.
- Build the road blocks that you use to mark an area along a road.
Settings that Citizen Loop changes
You cannot change these in the portal. Contact Citizen Loop support:
- Your official name and other jurisdiction details.
- Your boundary.
- Text messaging setup.
- Your city's resident records.
