Account and security
Sign in with a passkey
A passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, your face or your screen lock. You can still use your password.
Add a passkey
- Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar. Then select Security.
- Under Passkeys, select Add passkey.
- The portal asks you to confirm it's you. Enter the code.
- Follow the steps from your device or password manager.
The list shows each passkey with its name and the date you added it. If we know your password manager, we use its name, for example "1Password".
Sign in with the passkey
On the sign-in page, select Sign in with a passkey.
Remove a passkey
- Open Security.
- Select Remove next to the passkey and confirm.
- Also delete the passkey from your device or password manager.
Problems
- "The passkey prompt closed. Try again." You closed the device prompt. Try again.
- "We do not know that passkey." The passkey was removed. Sign in another way, then add it again.
- "This device already has a passkey for your account." You do not need a second passkey on this device.
