Residents

Find a resident

Open Citizens in the sidebar. You need a role that can look up residents: Admin, Communications manager or Resident services.

  1. Fill in one or more fields: Name, Address, Email or Phone.
  2. Select Search residents.
  3. Select a resident to open their profile.

Search tips

  • Partial matches work. For example, a last name, part of a street name or the start of an email.
  • For a phone, enter the last four digits or the full number.
  • When you fill in more than one field, a resident must match all of them.
  • For a name, enter at least two letters.

The results

The list shows each resident's name, address, household size, gender, age and the ways you can reach them. "Reachable by" shows only confirmed channels. "None" means you cannot reach the resident.

The list shows up to 50 residents. If you get more, add more details to your search.

Who the search does not show

  • Residents marked as moved away.
  • People who are no longer in your city's records.
  • A city record that is matched to a resident who signed up. You see the sign-up instead.

A new change can take a short time to show in search.

Problems

  • "No residents match." Use fewer fields, part of a street name or the last four digits of a phone.
  • "Search is not available right now. Try again in a minute." Wait, then try again.

Privacy

Each search and each profile that you open is logged with your name.
